A-Barber waitlist terms, privacy practices, text-message consent, and data requests.

What we collect

  • Phone number to hold your spot; turn texts only if you opt in
  • Name so the barber can call you
  • Approximate location only when you choose to check in with location

What we don't

  • We don't sell your phone number.
  • We do not use waitlist information to track you across other apps.
  • We don't keep your location history.

Text messages

  • Next Chair sends waitlist codes, line position, turn alerts, and visit-status texts only to customers who opt in by checking the optional text box when they join. Joining the line never requires texts.
  • Message frequency varies by visit, usually 1-4 texts per line visit. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
  • Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or sold.

Data requests

Customers can ask to export or delete waitlist data by phone number.
